What film did you watch last night?

The Happening.

My mind was blanking as much as Mark Wahlbergs facial expression, that was enough to draw me in to watching it through.

Nothing special, but intriguing all the same... not sure why though/

Law Abiding Citizen - Saw it in the cinema and was vaguely unfufilled by the ending, but it benefits from a second watch. Somehow the knowledge of what is going on actually makes the whole thing a little better, quite enjoyed it :)

The Road.

A great watch, good chemistry between the father and son.

Some of the most scariest imagery i've ever seen in the landscape, a very good depiction of hell on earth

Avatar.

Visually stunning and not bad acting, story on the other hand is just a rehash of Last Samurai/Dances with wolves so on, generic hero joins clan of natives who teach him the their ways he then goes on to lead them against unbeatable foes and somehow wins the day blah blah blah...

6/10

Couples Retreat - 5/10

The first half of the film was terrible but it seemed to pick up more towards the end IMO

5/10 - just didn't do anything for me really. Crowes accent bounces around the british isles and you can't really seem to warm to any of the characters. Only good thing was recognising the beaches because it was filmed near where we live. Funny seeing the Pembrokeshire coast being past off for France :)

I really liked it, though I agree that his accent was awful.

I thought Crowe and Blanchett worked well together. The action was good, but honestly - how many times do we need to see him riding a horse having someone throw him a sword? I was also disappointed the Little John dragged that big chopper around all film and never used it.

His other big chopper, I mean. I know he used that one.

Watched a couple of films over the past couple of days.

Remember Me: Thought this was great, didn't think I would like it as much as I did and thought the ending was superb, didn't expect it! Thought the acting was pretty great as well. First time I have got very angry at little girls. 8/10

Then I watched three other films that had terrible endings.

Brothers: Good film, rubbish ending. 7/10
Daybreakers: Rubbish film, rubbish ending. 2/10
Unthinkable: Great film throughout, thought it ended too soon. 7/10

This was a great movie, agree with you on the ending being very surprising and really bringing the film together. Brosnan was great in it to.

Watched 'Bang Bang You're Dead' just now...one of the best films I've seen for a long while. Dunno why I didn't watch it nearer release!
