Agreed. He is a very good actor, one of my favourites.
Baby Driver - been on my list for a long time and finally hit to watch it last night. Good film, nicely done with the music beats. 4/5
1917. Bit a a weird one. Alot of hip shooting and random soldiers in random places on their own.
Not sure it will leave a lasting impression 7/10
The Guilty 4/10 not good ...both underwhelming and unconvincing. Reading up looks like the original version may have been a preferable watch.
Stripes (UHD extended edition) 7/10
Bloody good classic comedy. Ramis and Murray work so well together in this pre-Ghostbusters army spoof.
crazy cross between a kids movie and a gory comedy horror. its totally nuts and over the top.
maybe 5/10 but someone with better taste than myself would give it less
I thought this was a fantastic film. Love a good low budget sci-fi.
Escape room 2: 3/10
Really enjoyed the first one, but this is a chaotic mess, lacking any of the suspense of the original. Full of vacant characters you don't care about. We ditched it half way through.

Pretty stupid film and just not scary
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - Much, much better than I was expecting. Likeable characters, decent effects, great fight choreography, maybe a touch too long. I don't think I've seen Simu Liu in anything else, but he did the job well. Awkwafina was nowhere near as annoying as I thought she would be, in fact, I would say she's one of the highlights of the film and I believe I'm developing a bit of a soft spot for her! Tony Leung Chiu-wai was brilliant, owning the scenes he was in. I would have liked to see a little more of Meng'er Zhang. Overall, a very enjoyable time. 8.5/10
Kim's Convenience I only just started watching it, so quite odd to see he's the star of SCATLOTTR
Yeah much like seeing Chris Pratt after Parks and Rec.
The Suicide Squad
As a one shot film, this was quite watchable and amusing. Definitely a lot better than I was expecting although I can’t see me ever rewatching it. Why are these films sooooo long though. There really is no need. Also the villain whilst generally comical made me a little squeamish at points, which was an odd choice as it added nothing.
7/10 as a ‘one shot’.
Watched All Good Things last night, 5/10.
Previously saw the Robert Durst documentary, The Jinx .... 10/10. Same director. He really needs to stick to doing docs.
At least Durst is now banged up, the freak.
Black Widow - 5/10 wasn't very good mainly because they ruined Taskmaster but it had a whole lot of other things wrong with it
Old - 4/10 The acting or more specific the dialogue just sounded off, robotic script reading and I could tell there was a lot of ADR work done from multiple scenes and the whole film was just generally boring, only decent thing was the twist at the end
Casino Royale 4k part of the Daniel Craig collection got three more films to watch in preparation for going to see "no time to die" on Thursday 30th. casino royale 4k 8/10 while technically the first two films are 2k upscaled to 4k as that what they were shot in 2k, where last two films were shot in narrative 4k.
Cinderella man 8/10
As all the modern films I've watched lately have been garbage, decided to find something older we'd never seen. Needless to say it's one of the best films I've seen for a while, with great performances and direction.
I really wasn't expecting much from this and just put it on for the kids, but it's actually pretty good. CGI is terrible and lets it down but the story and acting is decent, and Emma Stone just nails the part.
Extraction - 6/10
Went in a little blind to this and it was not what I was expecting at all. Great action, dodgy script.
End of Watch - 9/10
one of my favorite films of recent times jake gyllenhaul is a really underrated actor imo really pulls you into the two main characters due to the way its filmed as a personal blog.
end always hits me hard
