Some great action, the comedic moments/one-liners were absolutely on point and not too "Bond-ey", and there's some great emotion to it as well. People will pick holes in the plot itself but you know what, it's a Bond movie.

last night i watch SkyFall in 4k and the night before last it was quantum of solace in 4k. for tonight shell be Spectre in 4k in preparation for No time To Die on Thursday night @ Odeon.

Free Guy (Disney+) 7/10

Some humorous touches, massive CGI, ridiculous brain off film and very enjoyable. Some similarities to Ready Player One.

Can't believe its streaming for free.

couldn't remember it's name - that was the bike chase sequence (thanks Ange lee) that I was confusing with Bond -
trying to remember what were the real memorable moments from the Craig dynasty - came up with the stairwell fight scene in casino royale, and the "it gets easier" to kill people start scene - compared to earlier bonds.

watching bond films before going to see the new one - I need a famine to appreciate a new one.

Free guy is only on D+ now in some countries. In others it will be on hbo max first. But all other "fully" Disney films in cinema, Shang chi for example, will be free on Disney+ after 45 days. Nov 12th for Shang chi, I think.

Fairly sure that was just during the pandemic. Cinemas had no bargaining power then but now they're back in charge! Jungle Cruise by the way!
Anyway...


Intrusion - 5/10
New Netflix movie. Sort of thriller but the story just didn't captivate me. Watched it as it had Frieda Pinto in it. Passed the time, barely.

Thought I'd finally get round to watch Spectre in preparation for the new one. It was ok, some good action scenes and decent story but not as good as Skyfall 7/10

Just watched Free Guy now it's on Disney+. Decent easy to watch movie, perfect for just switching my brain off on a weeknight!

Free Guy - fun mash up of Ready Player One, Wall*e, The Lego Movie, The Trueman Show, The Matrix and many others. I thought it was a blast! 4/5

No Time To Die - 7/10

I enjoyed the first half. Unfortunately I felt the "new" villain and the latter half in general didn't really interest me.
