What film did you watch last night?

Watched a few over the weekend...

Cars - was ok, main character a bit annoying, 6/10

Up - quite fun and loved the dog, 8/10

Solomon Kane - was ok, iffy cgi in places and other times great cgi, overall made a fun Saturday night film. 6/10

and watched Zombieland again, one of my favourite films, love it!

Watched The Other Guys on Saturday. I enjoyed it although it is not as funny as some of Ferrell's previous films. 6.5/10

Father of the Bride - Steve Martin at his best, and Martin Short is excellent as well

Doghouse - quite funny and very "lad"-based. Even the wife liked it.
Gladiator - Extended Edition blu-ray: Just superb.

I love Red Dwarf but, how is is a film exactly?

Got around to watching Moon. Was expecting it to be some supernatural type film, especialy after the images immediately prior to the scalding event and the dust cloud event, but in the end it was fairly run of the mill with no real suspense or twists to speak of. Give it 6.5/10

Snakes on a Plane.

OK film, terrible CGI on the snakes, so many mistakes I lost count, like sucking the poison out of a snake bite..

6/10, had some redeming parts though.

It its good, best Martial arts film of recent times. Don't watch Ip Man 2, nowhere near as good.

They really aren't as funny as all their hype made out. I didn't really find them laugh out loud amusing, just a wry smile of a comedy. I have better laughs with my work colleagues at lunchtimes.

I found Hot Fuzz to be a huge disappointment after Shawn Of The Dead. I felt like I ought to be laughing more, but it just wasn't happening.

What did you watch last night?

I'm currently watching through Lie to Me season 2. This series has gone from strength to strength from the start imho.

Films? watched The Town last friday at the cinema and i'd give it a 7/10. Might see about watching something on the media PC this weekend. Got a couple i'd like to watch:

Land of the Dead - Zombie film, apparently alright.
Last of the Mohicans - seen before but not in a long time.
Robin Hood - Apparently it's rubbish but i'd like to see for myself.
