What film did you watch last night?

Caligula - uncut edition, from Tesco DVD rental on Blu Ray, well... The actual film was not that special several other productions have recreated Rome better but this one certainly had the depravity! I was amazed by the graphic shots in some of the scenes, very surprising for a legitimate rental!

Reading a bit about the film it was funded by the creator of Penthouse who wanted to put as much sex and violence into it as possible. The top British actors who were starring in the film apparently had little idea that hardcore elements would be added later.

Anyway, an interesting film about a very interesting part of history and surprisingly enough makes Spartacus look tame! Overall 3/5

How To Train Your Dragon - Quality film 8.6/10

Robin Hood - Film was to long and not much action but it was my fault, should have done some googling to see the film was going show how he became known as Robin Hood (dam Disney and there 1973 version) 6/10.

Battle Royale, awesome film, loved it! Now if only we could implement that law for Chavs!! 10/10

ya i love this too. some poeple rate it down because it is popular or unrealistic in some respects but damn is it an entertaining film that made at least me think about friends, situations and outcomes.

not many films make me think liek that.

Machete 6/10

hm was okay got a bit stagnant in the middle. my friend fell asleep during that part. some good bits but ultimately as forgettable as the coffee i drank this morning.

Piranha - was expecting it to be sooo bad, but surprisingly found it very good! Lots of nakedness :). 8/10

Hehe watched that last night as well...awesome nakedness for the win especially Kelly Brook:p

Watched Shutter island for the umpteenth time last night as well...absolutely love the movie.

Same about Piranha watched it last night as well, it had nudity and gore (lots of gore) and it was smashing!

Back To The Future at the cinema. Absolutely brilliant. Such an excellent film. It's so well paced and every scene works - there's nothing there that doesn't need to be there. It's really funny and well acted and it looks so cool.

10/10 for sure.

X-files move (2008). I watched the first 3 or 4 series back in the day but stopped watching after that... I thought it was 'OK' as an extended episode but was pretty poor as a relatively high budget movie. IMO if you are going to bring something back it needs to be at least a little bit special, this wasn't.
