What film did you watch last night?

I can't believe IMDB gives it 7.9 out of 10. It's 'Commando' remade for the nineties. Annoying teenager gets kidnapped and the father goes to get her. Atrocious film, one dimensional characters, dire, dire, dire.

I was waiting for a twist, but nothing. Did I mention it was dire!

Get him to the Greek

A pleasant suprise of random humour and cringeworthy comedy moments.

Highlights include accurate portrayal of 'furry wall obsessions' when massively trousered on chemicals.

The Human Centipede

The acting was some of the worst I've ever seen! I feel sorry for the guy who played the antagonist (yes this is possible even after seeing him stitch people's faces to others anus holes) because he is actually a decent actor! His character was horrible!

I KNOW! Awful awful film, hated the acting, dialogue was laughable and the plot was ****. Some parts just make me laugh out loud - so very very bad. No idea what they were smoking when they reviewed it - but I want some. :o

Battle Royale is about the only film I really cannot understand the hype about at all. It's utterly stupid, start to finish. Normally with 'good' films others like but I don't I can see where they are coming from, but this goes in the serious wtf pile along with Napoleon Dynamite.
 
just watched the first half of terminator 4: salvation... thought it was rubbish so far and am not sure if I will watch the rest... FYI I thought T1 was excellent, T2 was very good, T3 was watchable.
 
You thought T3 was watchable but turned off Salvation? :confused:

I would say 'the mind boggles' but I forget not everybody grew up with the Terminator films and find the loud droans from the soundtrack frankly, quite terrifying! :p

nah its not that stupid a film. its a testing film id say. sure there are some wthell japanese moments but i think its really well done and very entertaining when you get into it.
 
Grown Ups

The wife and I quite enjoyed this, we must have been in a funny mood.

It actually made a nice change for Adam Sandler to not be screaming and pulling funny faces

Watched Predators last night.

Average film at best, had far too many dumb moments for my liking, Laurence Fishburne's character in particular was very dumb.
