Played Terraforming Mars again with our new cardboard play mats, so much better! Really hold your tracking cubes in and the odd nudge or two while reaching a cross didn't dislodge anything.

It's a mad game, I thought I was winning hands down and in the final tally lost by one point!

I think that too. A game we played a few nights ago, we tallied up the board, milestones/awards and blue projects cards with resources on. I was 20 points infront. Then we do the VPs on the remaining project cards. I had 15 more Vps, thought I had this in the bag. the wife totalled hers up, holding this thi9ck wad of cards, and whooped my ass. She had 56 VPs on cards. Mad.

Also, I managed to get a second hand copy of Small world of warcraft. Played our first game last night. Loved it. Never played small world before and this Warcraft version takes the best bits from SW expansions etc. Really good game.
e: Also got Prelude second hand brand new in shrink coming this week. I have prelude already but I printed the cards out from a Table top simulator. Now I will have the real deal.

Patchwork is great - we're off on holiday for a week, and it tends to find its way into our bag for a quiet evening (or not so quiet evening three bottles in). Really easy to pick up and play!

It’s one of this cooperative games where you are not allowed to communicate so can be a bit frustrating at first.

After a few games we got what we were supposed to do and unless you get a few horrible rolls you can sort it out. Just make sure you stock up on coffee cups which let you change the dice roll a bit!

It is fun and quick, we’re still pretty new to it so have not explored all of the options (you get a huge variety of different conditions and airports in the box).

Recommend watching a few videos.

We've started playing LoTR - Journeys in Middle Earth. First play through went OK, but realised we made a mistake so going to restart tonight. Also gives me some impetus to get back to painting again.

Started Kingdom Legacy: Feudal Kingdom yesterday.
Card based solo legacy game. Collect resources from cards to upgrade other cards steadily increasing your card draw pile.
Some cards let you draw other cards from another deck and there is some card destruction involved.
At the end, you have a final score you can upload to a leaderboard. 3 expansion cards included in the decks and so far there are 2 separate expansions out with another 5? planned.

Really enjoying it so far and might get it finished today (6 hours playtime apparently and all for £20)

Dungeon Mayhem with expansions - super well balanced game and great fun
Cthulhu Fluxx
Exploding Kittens
Zombie Kittens

ALL those are well balanced quick fun...

Also played Mission Red Planet... good but better after you've had one play through as rules not blindingly obvious
