what graphic cards to buy.

Hi there im wanting to buy 2 4890 cards or 2x nvidia 275 cards to run in my
asus ramapage extreme 2 i7 setup.
which cards will be better for me.
im running 3 monitors 3840by1024. resolution in all games. thx in responce.

You can't run triple monitors whilst using sli. So I guess that that answers your question. Unless you want to buy two graphics cards and a triplehead2go (about £250)

Overall theres not much in it performance wise between the 4890 cards or GTX 275's but if it was me i would get the 4890's as they are cheaper.

hi im using the matrox tripple head to go digital edition. just dont know what would be best. the new ati or new nvidia. crossfire or sli.

well the performance of the 4890 and the 275 are pretty similar, but as for crossfire/sli I havn't seen any benchmarks yet (I don't think that there are any yet)

It would seem that ati cards and triplehead only support up to 3x 1440x900

whereas nvidia cards go higher (1680x1050)
