What happened to all the 3060s

People know it's not worth mining BTC on GPUs right?
I would assume they are using the 3060s to mine ETH then trading to BTC then trading out to cash. OR the 3060s sell when the eth/btc mining eats up other stock (CPUs and GPUs in other SKUs) to either scalp the 3060s or use them in legit gaming pcs, cos other stock is dry/non existent.

Law of unintended consequence's and all that. Following the causal chain/logic loops and real life affects of changes is hard...

Well buying a 3060 purely for mining ETH defies logic. I'm seriously considering jumping to Ravencoin if I can get my hands on some 3070Tis. The GDDR6X on it makes it a better mining card than a gamers card.

Like someone said above, when it comes to FE cards, miners are not snapping them up. The one per account severely hampers this access so its bots, scalpers and foaming mouth gamers all fighting still. If AMD get their act together and bring some volume in with 6800/XT cards I can see the prices (of all the stacks on both brands) topple down a bit.

There's some 3070's in stock right now. $920, still very overpriced but that's already more competitive than scalpers. I think the scalpers might just have more GPUs than what they can sell. I think we're finally starting to see the market going back to normal :D

I was literally typing a comment here when my phone messaged me that 3060Ti are on stock. I thought, "let me try to at least click the link", 0 expectations. But, but, as soon as I clicked it asked me to solve a mathematic problem, took 12seconds, then the GPU was added to cart. Seriously? :)))) 390£ with next day delivery. Hope 100% reestablished

What the heck?? Where?? How??

I'm so close to biting the bullet and doing this too. Only thing that's stopping me is the benchmark between the 3060 and the 3070

They are worlds apart. At least the 3060 Ti is in the same ballpark for not much more than the 3060 (in theory).

I'd recommend trying to stay patient if you can. I'm trying to...

Lots of the gpu die were used to make 3070 instead as they make more profit for Nvidia, also lots of cards went to miners in places like China.
