I want about 320gb. Which is the best hard drive for my money?

Probably still the 320Gb WD AAKS at that sort of money, the 400Gb version might still be in bdget.

These are your main options for around that price mark. I presume your after a sata hard drive?
I would personally get the 400gig WD one I have listed.

how do people rate the samsung spinpoints?

The Western Digital WD4000AAKS is a good one to go for but remember that you will only end up with around 370 GB after formatting.
Mine shows as 372 after formatting.
To get 400Gb you would need something like a 450Gb drive if there was one.

The samsungs are good too, just not quite as fast though theres not much in it.
You can't go far wrong with any of those
