What hardware to watch films on?

I have recently bought a Synology home NAS (Which is great) but now i want to watch films on my TV streaming from the nas.

Obviosly i do not need a media drive that has its own storage so can anyone reccomend anything to me for a reasonable price?

Yeah +1 for the WD TV Media Player - I have one and it rocks. Plays nearly everything I've thrown at it (other than .rmvb files).

Only annoying thing is the way it lists films in the folders view; I have over 200 on my external hard disk and it simply displays a list of film icons. There's no differentiation between any of them and you have to select one to see what it is. Doesn't feel like it's designed for such a large number of files.

But the main thing is, it's easy to use and does the job.
