^this, pretty much. If I find myself back in Europe soon then I'd fancy a different car anyway, so didn't make any sense to keep them.

Cleaned the windows, as they were all smudged up...
I think mine were glad when they saw a new owner riding away on my bike.my neighbors will probably be glad to see me go.
It popped and banged a few times as it was leaving.

Spent a couple of hours after work trying to figure why I get no satellite reception on the sat nav and my key doesn't work by RF any more. Still nonthewiser after removing both rear C pillars, checking wiring, checking fuses, etc. Pah.
Had a new windscreen put in the R8 today after picking up a second chip which was worse than the first and began to spread. I have also booked the car in to have all 4 wheels done again (I marked one DOH!!!!!) as the current shade of graphite I am not 100% happy with, so going to have a V2 done with a slight upping of the shine finish. I find the current wheels are a touch too matt in finish for my liking and after washing I always feel they need a shine.
Also after my charity efforts at Brunters I have 2 HUGE stone chips (will try a touch up bought today), but likely to get it booked in for pain on bonnet, windscreen pillars and roof and finally to have the carbon blade rebuilt back to factory finish perfection. I see these annual jobs as pretty much "the cost of doing business" with such a car. I could buy new and **** 40K or buy nearly new and **** 30K in depreciation and running costs, so I chose the latter.
