Hi all about to upgrade my current PC i built almost 5 years ago
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780Ti WindForce 3x OC 3072MB GDDR5
Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4670 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor
NZXT Hale Power 90+ 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance Gold 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case
Corsair H80I water cooler
1tb Samsung SSD and a 3tb and 1tb Hard drive
new build will be either
NZXT h700 will keey current PSU
NZXT Kraken X62, (already have these 2)
Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz (Coffee Lake) Socket LGA1151
ROG Maximus X Hero Intel Z370 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Aorus GeForce GTX 1080TI 11264MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card
Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC3-24000C15 3000MHz
WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB M.2 2280 6Gbps Solid State Drive plus existing SSD and Hard drives.

second option is going RTX route

Been out of the hardware loop for a while so any suggestions on inprovments welcome got about £1800 to spend on components for the case and cooler i already have
Also any suggestions for a enclosure for my BD writer that i do still use now and again

Grab the 1080ti Aorus on sale or 2080ti Windforce , get the 2.5 slot one , believe it's the Gaming named one .
Aorus , Strix and such are custom boards which will take their time , Windforce etc of reference boards with custom coolers .

See how you get on , overclocked co your i5 in the mean time !!!
Intel 9th gen and z390 boards out week 40.

All reviewed in UK have received their RTX cards today, NDA lifts 19th if you want to wait for reviews .
Hoping to get hands on the 20th at EGX

Sound like if AIB are allowed to pump voltage through like they did with Maxwell, have a damn good overclocker hitting 2100hz +

If your gaming 4k or 1440p 100hz ultra wide then 2080ti
If not 1080ti

Shane they have gone bust now, 9700k and z370 are released roughly week 40 (October )

i don't game in 4k i play mostley EQ2 World of warships and a few others now and then i think ill go or the 1080ti set up should do me another 4 or 5 years
