Well the first clips just a kid, he's probably never had a lesson in his life and will (hopefully!) realise he's just playing nonsense one day.

Beat me to it.
In a years time he'll try is best to get that off the internet but at the moment he thinks he's Steve Vai.

I have the whole of that Malmsteen tutorial video and I couldn't get past the first lesson.
I've also got a DVD concert of him playing with an orchestra and I just sit there transfixed.

C'mon, he's only a kid. Give him a break. I'm sure everyone on here has had a stage of tremelo picking as fast as they could and doing random legato along to it.

Hell, sometimes I play total rubbish like that as well as a picking exercise.

Okay, actually I looked again and that is REALLY UNBELIEVABLY shocking

Just some young kid practising. What did you expect, BB King? Most of these shred merchants lack any sense of musicality and rythm. A lot of people talk about VH being like that. Maybe in the later years, but most of the time he doesn't actually widdle that much. IMO at least

You'll find that it was a proper Malmsteen tutorial video released in the Far East - it was serious.
It was obviously aimed at ArmyOfHarmony's calibre and not some pleb like me.
