Well i have turned to Overclockers to point me in the right direction of what isp to choose for when i move out. In July iam moving out with 3 other friends and need to find an sutible isp to use. There will be 3 pc's and an laptop all acessing the one connection. Would i need one with a fairly large bandwidth for all the access the internet and still run smoothly? Idealy need one without and download limit. An wireless router would be great but not needed as i have a wired one just now suppose i could just get long CAT5 cabels. I was thinking about telewest as they do the 3 for £30 but only gives you an 2MB line. Anyway what isp would you recomend for me?

Thanks for your time to read this.

If they're planning on leeching the internet, probably (and fastest connection might not be all you need). If it's just email and web browsing (and small downloads), no.

That's quite likely a pipe dream.

Without knowing ADSL or cable, it's a struggle to suggest anything...

I was thinking about telewest as they do the 3 f or £30 but only gives you an 2MB line.

That assumes you can get Telewest.

I'd rather have my 30 seconds back :p

What you need to do first of all, is look on somewhere like Samknows, and see what you can actually get (and check the cableco's sites too to make sure).

if you can get telewest then get that. 35 notes a month for 10mb. split between 4 people it's hardly going to break the bank. :D

I think its Cable i can get but thanks for the linky to that site anyway. I geuss it will be downloading a lot and maybe some online gaming also.

If it's cable you're after, there's most likely only one ISP you'll be able to get then - either Telewest ("unlimited") or NTL (75GB/month "cap"), though they're one and the same now anyway.
