As title really,

What is the highest safe vcore for an opteron 165 on air?

I have an opteron 165 running 2.9Ghz on a sythe ninja, (see settings below), it is as far as I am concerned fully stable, because I can run three or more hours of Fear at max with no problems, all my other apps also work fine on it.

It is 32M super Pi stable on both cores, it has completed over 30 hours of prime95 with no errors.

But most annoyingly it bugs out of Orthos after about 2.5 hours with an error.

I was wondering if upping the voltage a bit more would help?

But I did not want to push it to far, just to pass another test when that is all I would be doing it for, as it is perfectly fine as it is for everything I need it to do.

So should I up the voltage a tad just to pass orthos, or really, is it as stable as it needs to be, so leave alone??

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers in advance guys.

Edit,
Changed screenie to show idle temps, on full load the temps only go up to,

CPU 46 PWMIC 45 Chipset 47.

Temperature is going to be more of an issue on air than voltage, the figure you want to avoid running over for any prolonged period of time is about 60C but it does vary with the particular chip (I think Coretemp tells you what the value is for your particular chip).

What Prime were you running, if it wasn't small it may have been a chipset/RAM problem?

Temps are not a prob then, at the moment the highest I have seen on the cpu is 53, and that was middle of the summer.

I was running the Prime95 torture blend test and that ran fine for just over 30 hours.
The orthos blend test, would only run for 2.5 hours before chucking out an error.

Coretemp says 57 degrees for the max on the Opteron 165.

So should I maybe try upping the chipset voltage??

I would try runnning Memtest first to see if the RAM and chipset is stable, other than that it would be trial and error to see what it actually is by tweaking the various voltages.
