What Is The Best Christmas Present You ever Received?

Sega Megadrive was mind-blowing when I unwrapped it.

Best ever was probably my first electric guitar. Gave me years of joy, that did, until life took over and I stopped playing. Now I suck. :(

Long haired Japanese Akita puppy
If I can find some pics I'll put them up
She was a constant companion until we lost her to a heart defect :(

Mine is a little odd but has to be a Digital Radio that an ex gave me a few years ago. Didn't ask for it, didn't expect it, didn't even really listen to the radio all that often. I use it so much now that I always bring it home for the holidays. The Ipod dock it has helps too.

I used to go fishing a lot in my early teens. Mainly on the Thames near Goring and mainly Pike fishing.

One year my parents bought me a little fishing boat. Would seat three of us so we could row up to the weirs and go fishing for pike.

I called it '*****' for a laugh. :D

It is still alive though I have not seen it for years. A friend of my dads uses it as his harbour boat in Cornwall so he can row out to his main boat which is wet moored.

My boyfriend took me to London last Christmas, paid for a stay in a hotel and took me to see Cirque Du Soleil at the Albert Hall - I've wanted to see Cirque du Soleil since I was a kid and missed out on the chance to see them at Disneyland in 1999 - that's been my favourite Christmas present so far. :)

Got to be the limited edition N64 with Goldeneye. Hours upon hours of fun with the brothers. I still remember how excited we were when we saw this large "shared" present sat in the living room on Christmas morning.

My Megadrive came with The Lion King when I got it on Christmas Day. I assume it was on deal at the time, or the only bundle package the parents could find.
It rivals the Tomy AFX set for "most awesome gift", I'd say. The Lion King turned out to be quite an enjoyable platformer, as I remember...

It would have been back in the 90's when I was a teenager. Just before Christmas 1998, my dad died suddenly. My Mum was very ill also and died just after that Christmas, less than a month apart. Spending the last few days with her and that Christmas was the best gift I could have, RIP mum and Dad I miss you both.
