Hi

I travel abroard a lot as an IT consultant, and need a flash new mouse for my flash new lappy.

I would like something wireless with good battery life, and something designed to make a single charge/ battery last ages.

I have heard mixed things about the Microsoft Laptop mice. Any advice?

Thanks

I went for a corded one as i didnt want to charge it, and i didnt want the little dongle thingy hanging from a USB port.

I got the Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 for £15 and its brilliant.

Not much help really am i.....

Pretty much either way you go, you're gonna have a wire somewhere, so why not just buy a decent wired mouse?

The Logitech G7 has a small 'dongle' that is the receiver for the mouse that can be separated from the normal battery charging station if that is any help however you then have to charge up the batteries at some other time and they tend to last 6-8 hours.

I think the Logitech MX1000 has a better battery life but it is pretty big and might not be so comfortable if you have smallish hands.

I haven't had a chance to use the Logitech Revolution yet. :)
