Woah some good memories looking through this thread. As for me back when i was a kid in the 70's i think it has to be Battling Gladiators aka Battling Tops ... i was easily pleased lol.

These days it's the PC with internet.

As a kid

Had loads of Action Force stuff I loved. I guess I stopped after 1985 based on the different generations listed here. I see that Snow Job disappeared from the line-up after 1985 though. Wonder why

That and Action Man (not the cheap piece of crap you can get today mind you).

As a new adult

First car which I spun and rolled within 3 weeks of passing my test (testers comments "Had to pass him as he was very careful with his driving").

Now

Smart phone (HTC HD2). Music, movies, internet and telephone all in one device.

As a kid it would be Micro Machines or my toy car collection.

Now, it's my bike or my phone (Desire HD). One helps me disconnect from everything, the other keeps me connected to everything, everywhere.

Technic Lego specifically. I had a few sets and a motor or 2 with all these parts you could make absolutly anything you liked and then motorise it.

Incidently The Tamiya rough rider and Hornet are both re-released, you can buy them right now!
