£650 for an almost new Winchester shotgun in the last 1980s. I think the model in question was over a grand new at the time, so a bit of a result to get a mint one with 200-300 shots on the clock for that price.

Only ever had bad luck buying second hand. Tend to either save up and buy new or go without.
