What is the most Graphicaly demanding game out there ?

Cryostasis, about the toughest game to run on my rig. The most graphically demanding games only start to become less smooth when I crank up the AA. Cryostasis provides a good workout without even that.

yea, cry engine three doesnt add a lot in visual quality (obviously some) as mainly the work has been optimizing everything.

agree, when I first played it on GTX280 couldn't play on high graphics,

as to other games: finished CRYSIS HD5870 all maxed out +4AA (accept shadows on high) and was quite good game play without noticeable lags, remember played on GTX280 and gpu was crying.

Metro also and Gothic 4

SupCom on moderate setting with an i7 920 / 6GB / GTX 280 is quite unplayable if you're against AI since it sucks the life out of your CPU.

Apart from the above, Batman AA is worth a look, didn't see it mentioned in this thread yet.

Hello , just a quick one , what is the most demanding ( GPU ) game out at the moment and is tht game actualy very good ?

Do you mean graphically demanding as a game that requires the most powerful computer to run or looks the best?

Because some games don't look that great but need a high end machine due to being poorly coded/badly optomised

But overall, i'd say Metro 2033, Crysis or possibly Flight Sim X with some mods

Get core optimizer, I run it maxed out at 2560 and in a 4v4 game, 100 unit cap, either with 4 ai or all humans, lowest i get is 20fps towards the end of the game at certain zoom levels. Going from one 295 to another one did actually double the amount of the time it took to get that low as well, so while I thought it was cpu bound, more graphics power did help a lot. Never really seen it get lower in any setup of the game I have played. Havinga soundcard helps a lot as well, my dual core latop outright cant play it unless I turn sound off, yet a single core with a soundcard and 7950gt could play it on low-medium settings with a soundcard.

Core maximizer sees the cpu usage go from like 100/20/20/20 to more like 85/55/65/45 though.
