Hi I found a pic of the same car as mine but it has this red thing across the suspension tops under the bonnet.

What is it?
How much do they cost?
What does it do?
Worth getting one on mine?

Thanks

It's a strut brace.
It reduces chassis flex by preventing the tops of the suspension turrets from compressing towards each other.
Usually cost £50 for an ebay special to silly money for branded ones.
It certainly can't do much harm on your car.

Can it do any harm at all ?
Its my everyday car but I like to rag it round country roads at the weekend

Ive just been looking on ebay and it says youve got to remove the standard air box and get a induction type filter. The one in the pic up top is in the wrong place, will just be sucking in warm air loosing power :(

The upper strut bars don't do a great deal, the ones underneath front and back will be more effective, but are more hassle to fit.
