I disagree: the OED defines 'cold' as:
of or at a low or relatively low temperature, especially when compared with the human body

0 is just a point on a scale, nothing more. Why are you assigning the meaning of absolute zero to it?
zero K is absolute zero.
Not read the full thread, so not sure of all the answers we've had before.
However, can't we do:
0oC = 32oF
-8.89oC = 16oF
So in theory the answer could be:
-8.89oC
