Any Xtrfy users here? Just wondering how they are for general quality control. That seems to be the biggest issue with mice these days.
fav mouse of all time Logitech MX518..
Using a M42 RGB atm and very happy with it's build quality, the cable is fine and there is no flex when giving it a good squeeze..Any Xtrfy users here? Just wondering how they are for general quality control. That seems to be the biggest issue with mice these days.
Thanks for the feedback. I was tempted by the M4 last week, but now I see they have a wireless variant out in a few weeks. It'll be their first wireless mouse though, so I don't think I'll risk ordering until I've seen a few reviews.Using a M42 RGB atm and very happy with it's build quality, the cable is fine and there is no flex when giving it a good squeeze..
Very wise , I watch to too many reviews when researching pc gearThanks for the feedback. I was tempted by the M4 last week, but now I see they have a wireless variant out in a few weeks. It'll be their first wireless mouse though, so I don't think I'll risk ordering until I've seen a few reviews.
Same, although buying a mouse is still too risky for my liking... I won't know if I like the shape until I have it in my hand!Very wise , I watch to too many reviews when researching pc gear

It does have a flatter and a lager shell which is the one I use as it fills my palm and suits my grip style, would i say it has a high back not so sure but the M42 is a small mouse compared to the two you mention..I had the M4 retro colourway last week. Absolutely loved the quality and look. But the height in the design wasnt there for me, Im too used to ergonomic style mice now. So might have to go for a Glorious model D or perhaps the Xtrfy M42 with the changeable shell if it has a high back @pooley
Yikes! Hope you weren't using it at the time?Logitech G600 for me , (I'm on my third ) I also liked the Razer Mamba until the battery exploded
Luckily not , the battery basically expanded to about 3 times the size and forced itself outYikes! Hope you weren't using it at the time?
Mad. Had you had it for long?Luckily not , the battery basically expanded to about 3 times the size and forced itself out
I don't think it was that long, maybe about 18 months , I was really cheesed off as I paid about £120 back when it first came out and Razer customer support didn't want to knowMad. Had you had it for long?
Disappointing. Some of the smaller manufacturers put the big boys like Razer to shame when it comes to customer care.I don't think it was that long, maybe about 18 months , I was really cheesed off as I paid about £120 back when it first came out and Razer customer support didn't want to know

Nice one, thanks. I'm thinking of pre-ordering the wireless M4.Had M4 for 18 months, it's been flawless.

Former MX518 owner here too. Great for its time, but you're right - mice have improved a lot.I had the all time classic MX518 for a decade, still worked fine, but I fancied a change and tbh the MX518 isn't in the same league as this. The best modern mice slam the best of yesteryear.
