Poll: What is your favourite Supermarket?

Voted Other (Ocado). I gave up on bricks-n-mortar supermarkets when I had to queue to use the self-service checkouts at my local Sainsburys. I don't mind self-service checkouts if there's no queue and you aren't buying much, but when some old dear is trying to put an entire trolley through it takes bloody ages. The standard of service you get from Ocado is absolutely fantastic - I think they've been late once in 6 months of weekly deliveries.

Cannot rate Ocado highly enough - superb service, loads of products to choose from, price matched with Tesco on a lot of items, great website, android app to do my shopping on, and out of my first 10+ deliveries only 1 substitution... that and delivery always seems to be free on Thursday after 10pm

I use them for the same reasons you do - I hate the self scan checkouts that supermarkets are forcing us to use and have not been back to Tesco for 4 months now, rather than save time they are so slow and have cut back on manned tills so much I was finding myself queuing for 5 minutes just to scan my own shopping - ******** to that.

I even go without now rather than pop in if I need a few things.

I like Sainsbury's and Morrison's. Aldi is good for cheap stuff too

Marks & Spencer do the best supermarket curries for a start. Almost all of the produce in their shops is higher quality that other supermarket tat.

For large supermarket shops I tend to prefer Sainsburys but I generally don't do big shops so tend to use Waitrose or M&S

I live about 5mins walk from a large ASDA but shopping there is normally hell.

Better veg, fresh meat and bread over tesco's.

Quite a number of veggies i buy daily are roughly half the size at tesco for the same price at morro's.
