What it's like being an F1 presenter and producer

So DC has effectively replaced legard then? So on the grid, it'll be jake, eddy, and, well, someone else presumably, unless DC is covering both grid and commentary? It won't be as good if it's only two people on the grid talking about stuff, in fact, I'll miss DC on the grid, because it's his and jake's facial expressions every time EJ opens his mouth which is hilarious.

I believe in the press release it said DC would still be doing his bit with Jake. DC would effectively be doing Brundles job, whilst Brundle will be the more vocal one effectively doing Legards.

I hope brundle still does his manic grid walk interviews and interrupting drivers.

Also, I think BBC are making a bit of a mistake. Legard might talk rubbish, but the spectator excitement comes from loud excitable voices like his and previously Murray Walker. Brundle knows what he's talking about, but can he stoke the fire of excitement with his commentary like those guys?

I think Brundle and DC will make a good pair in the commentary box, really looking forward to see how it pans out

Hopefully Melbourne is a good start to a great year (and a British WC again - fingers crossed) :)

edit - I think Brundle has said that he will be doing a few less grid walks this season
