ok so Christmas is coming the geese are getting fat and I want a new lens for a good old £200 (I have a nikon d60), I was thinking wide angle as I have a telescopic lens 75-300mm for my film camera (nikon f801) but it works fine on my d60 with a tripod lots of focusing and long exposure lol :D

so what lens do you good overclockers recommend ? :D

You may be able to pick up a Sigma 10-20 or Tokina 12-24 for about £250-£270 or something like the 35mm f1.8 for a more general lens (it's quick and sharp too).

just checked out the sigma, the sites I've been looking at are 290 minimum ? could you give me a few suggestions please?

Used, not new and only if you're lucky. You'll be more likely to get a Tokina for that price (a slightly better lens, imo).
