could you specify which pentium D
the 8 series and the 9 series are totaly different, and the 2.8Ghz models have a few compatibility issues with some chipsets.
intel boards that support D's with DDR memory are hard to find.
the only one that springs to mind is an asrock 775 dual 880 PRO... it supports ddr and ddr2, dont know how it clocks though.
ive got one but i never got the chance to OC with it dues to an upgrade.
