I just tried a blu ray from my pc to the hdtv whilst gaming and it was fine (admitedly on a 5870). Its the sound thats the problem, not sure how to use the onboard for the game so it doesn't come through the amp/hdtv with the film audio.

I don't want to game and play videos at the same time.

I run 4 monitors with two cards at the moment.

The 4870 1GB drives the 24" dell and one TFT

The 4350 runs the other monitor DVI and the HDMI goes to the Onkyo AMP HDMI input for video and audio output to my Projector.

I didnt think you did, clears that up anyway. The 5770 flex may well be able to run 3 monitors and feed your projector over hdmi as well.

Just got a 460 it was I thought the only one capable until the 450. Had some HDMI issues detecting my Onkyo all good now, way more efort than the 5770 for sure. Spent about 2 hours trying to get the colours etc correct. It says it can now bitstream everything. Will be giving it a good test tommorrow. I'll let you know.

Sorry back a bit later than I planned. I just posted this so everyone could see it. I think it answers your original question.
