What parts of your car need to warm up?

What parts of your car need to warm up and what is the best way to do so?

The only parts I know that are effected are the engine and the gearbox. The gearbox can be stiff at first, but once warmed up it is like butter...

The roof on my motor. The handbook recommends that I don't put it down in temps under 5 degrees. The impression I get is that it can crack in really cold temperatures.

Reminds me of the forumer who was purchasing a Mk1 MX-5 recently, the owner was demonstrating the frosted top and it split like a banana... very amusing, unless you were to have owned the MX5 that is

a new rear screen for the MG is only £100 fitted, why is the MX-5 one so expensive?
