What PC games are you playing?

Blood Dragon - WTF Seriously people like this game! I loved Far Cry but this is a waste of a free voucher!

Saints Row 4 - I don't get it, spent 20 minutes customising my character and the game just seems silly, I know its meant to be like that but its not even entertaining

Bioshock Infinite - Again, all hype and disappointment, this is a very highly rated game and I just seem to be killing the same enemies in the same rooms over and over again I just don't see what all the fuss is about

BF4 - Addictive as crack, problems at first but now it seems perfect, runs perfect and looks incredible and I just cant leave it alone

Well it's been a while since I last posted in here, so:

Dungeon defenders - a mate convinced me to pick this up in the sale to play with him and some others, and it seems pretty fun so far... Nice little tower defence with an okay amount of depth and upgrades and things.

Resonance - I just finished this earlier and loved it... Got a real soft spot for the classic point n' clicks (Beneath a Steel Sky, Simon the Sorcerer, Fate of Atlantis, etc etc) and this feels just like that, but with much more developed mechanics. The puzzles are logical but very complicated and were very satisfying to slowly work out :)

Started the Assassin's Creed series. Yes, very late to the party but for some strange reason I just never bothered playing them. Got all of them installed on my hard drive and no other games (bar ME3 which I still haven't touched) so it's all I have to play. Finished AC1 earlier this evening and got started on AC2 tonight. About 4 memory sequences in. So far it seems a bit more interesting than AC1 but I strangely prefer the graphics on the first one. It just seems more gritty and real. I even had a quick go at AC: BF and AC1 graphics still seem better to me. I'm probably going blind or something.

AC2 is the best of the series IMO. The AC2 sequels offer some gameplay changes too, mostly in a good way. Enjoy!

been playing bulletstorm since i got it cheap from Steam sale, great fun to play .. ok its no BF or COD but its great for a quick blast .. and with 3D vision it looks awsome

Metro Last Light at the mo', very good but a bit of a pain to get the settings right to avoid fps drops. Advanced PhysX is rough.

STALKER SOC with Autumn Aurora 2 mod. Right now I am stuck in an abandoned building next to a fire as it's pitch black outside and I can't see a damn thing. I have no sleeping blanket and am low on food.

Are there any other mods I should consider as this is my first play through STALKER. Got to say I am loving it and glad I chose AA2 over Complete. Complete seems to dumb the experience down a lot.

Bit of lego marvel and attempting to play some castle story, but either I'm doing something terribly wrong or even in its early release stage it is very much broken :)

Gone a bit mad during my week off.

Wargame: Airland Battle: Being a bit rubbish in multiplayer, but the military nerd in me just loves it. :o
Mass Effect 3. Though I have stopped after only getting a few hours in. I can't get my Shephard's to look even remotely normal. The cut scenes just make me wince and destroy my immersion. Never had this problem in 1 & 2.

and I'm currently replaying...

Dragon Age: Origins and really loving it.
Skyrim. Reinstalled it Saturday morning and spent "several" hours downloading umpteen mods for it. Been trying remember how to play it after a few months away.
Mount and Blade: Warband. Reinstalled earlier after seeing the Floris Mod had finally started including flintlocks. Should be fun.

On a side note. The Nexus Mods site must love me after all the bandwidth I've been using these last few days. :o

If you're happy with that mod, then I'd stick with it. I played it recently, and it's certainly the most atmospheric SHOC mod I've played. Another strength it has is that it's a polished product. Quite a few other mods I've tried are works in progress, so that can be a drawback. I suppose you could consider Stalker Soup (the most ambitious mod for SHOC I've tried yet), though how stable it is atm I don't know. Try the GSC forums if you need any more advice.
