What PC games are you playing?

It starts off very poorly however towards the endo f the campaign it gets a lot better. The utopia mode is great and they've launched a DLC which has improved this further. However the amount of bugs in the game is bad at the moment and can wipe progress so I've put it on hold for a while until they fix these.

Thanks for letting me know. I failed on my first attempt, they booted me out into the cold! lol

I keep going back to Fallout 4. It's now very repetitive and gets boring fast, yet strangely addictive to keep going back to. I like the whole base building element and how they connect together, but it would be good if the enemy factions had a more organised feel to them rather than sporadic attacks.

I'm playing Far Cry 5, which I bought on sale years ago and never played.

It's pretty generic FPS, but OK. Some of the dialogue is funny, as was watching a turkey randomly attack an NPC.

At some point I appear to have got the dlc for Fallout 4, which I only completed vanilla. I decided to try out a mod list and play it again. Downloading via Nexus was painfully slow and then failed for some reason, so I signed up for the premium trial.

That downloaded at almost full speed, so got it all setup. Promptly forgot to cancel Premium and now paid for, thankfully I switched it to monthly on signup. Almost like I knew I would forget :D.

Might have to get Skyrim installed and modded too.

Started AOE4, a random map game or 2 per week.
Not bad, less annoyances than AOE3 with the effin cards and home city.
Feels like a mix between AOE2 and AOM gameplay wise. And I love AOE2 and liked Age of Mythology a lot. I do feel it is doing too much with icons instead of text like a lot of modern games, I have to learn all the icons.
Also no more button to revert to classic hotkeys in 1 click, which is a **** you to longtime fans imo.

AOE2 is still superior though :).

Also gave God of War Ragnorok another punt, i am 3 hrs in now and it's picking up. I thought the first 1-2 hrs were boring comapred to the 2018 God of War.

Also grabbed the definitive editions of gta3-sa, now replaying GTA3, didn't come across any issues and quite nice to play it, tho I am a bit annoyed how they removed the top down view which is still available in teh original GTA3. Slight UI/UX and lighting/reflections/draw distance update and the game is actually quite nice imo.

Still playing fh5. Nearly 800h, that's how boring I am.
Just started a new season.
One of the challenges is 600,000 in a drift zone *boke*

Having your balls clapped between two bricks is more fun than drifting.

Just started playing Dying Light The Beast.

I do like it so far. Well... I did, until I got seen during the night by a volatile. The ensuing chase was really not my cup of tea at all. I just ran around like a headless chicken for 5 minutes until they caught and killed me. If you can play the game avoiding night time completely then I'll probably finish it because I do enjoy everything else...

King Arthur: Knight's Tale - A tactical turned-based RPG. Really enjoying it so far.
@Tombstone

Sorry to bother you both but since there is not a dedicated thread for King Arthur: Knight's Tale and you two seems to be the only two that played it on this forum (Only got two hits when I did a search, which was you two :p ). I am thinking of buying it as it is €8.50 on Loaded, but curious if you can play it with keyboard and mouse, or is it a controller game ??

I played entirely k&m :)

Enshrouded is has stepped up to be the main game I'm playing now, I've dropped Aska for a bit and am dipping in and out of other games until I settle on something that keeps my focus alongside my session of Enshrouded as I often find I need to alternate between two games to stop myself getting too tired with repetitive gameplay.

After a long time of procrastinating, I finally grabbed Frostpunk 2 in a decent sale. Had a first go of it last night and I'm not liking it at all, so far it's like an incredibly basic city building game and there's zero attachment or emotion. I'll give it time, perhaps it will improve.
I bought the deluxe edition when it launched and have managed 16 hours in it so far, it's simply garbage in comparison to the original and none of the changes they made were for the better at all, that is my opinion so no need for anybody to come at asking for proof or try to tell me I'm wrong like the downvoting muppets on reddit, you're welcome to disagree with it :D, 11bit obviously understand that there are many people with the same opinion hence the upcoming 1886 version of the original game. I occasionally try to play it and just come to the same conclusion every time, in fact it's gotten worse from the viewpoint that the tutorial mission was made to be exceedingly difficult due to changes they made at one point.

Playing a lot of Witchfire , safe to say its one of my favourite games ever now.
I discovered Eldegarde recently [formerly known as fire and sorcery or something] and really enjoying it [im mainly playing pve mode]
Fantasy based extraction pve and pvp, combat is great, progression deep too.
Ex blizzard devs, feels life wow mixed with arc raiders in a way.

All the game is missing is a big marketing campaign, these vids sum it up nicely.

well, that's a solid looking game.
Is there much waiting for games to start. I'm thinking along the lines of Tarkov where the waits can be in the tens of minutes.

Edit: Read a smattering of the negative Steam reviews.. I might not jump in to this straight away.

I almost gave up, but decided to persevere and I have finally got the hang of it. I certainly didn't find it intuative and I don't think I'll be playing it for much longer. I think the problem is that there's just too much going on that instead of feeling like an enjoyable game, it's more like a frantic yet tedious balancing act with a lot of micro management.

Just reinstalled Cult of the Lamb. Never finished the game even though I loved it when it came out - I was playing it too quickly so I forced myself to take a break and just never went back. I have 1 week to kill and nothing else particularly interesting in that time, so it seems to perfect opportunity to get back into it!

Anybody played the just-released DLC for it?

So i've been playing Satisfactory for this past week and a bit. Addicted doesn't even come close. I've got stuff built all over the place. little bit of coal here, little bit of oil and plastic there and some quartz over here. I'm at the stage of fuel production/fuel generators and just unlocked Phase 4 last night. Now I need to get Aluminium production up and running. What a game. I think I'll be at this for a while.
My main focus at the moment needs to be on more automation and transporting items because up until now i've been able to get by with just crafting some items at the bench when needed and transporting them myself. I've not even touched trains yet.
