Sorry if I shouldn't post in this forum but it is photography related.

I have a relative that wants a photo printer preferably multi function with scanner. A budget of around £60 maybe more if it proves worth it. Are there any good quality printers around this price?

Thanks for your help chaps.

Epson are a pain in the butt with printers, uses ink to clean all the time, it gets block all the time which means uses more ink again. Then it starts to print steaks after about 12 months of use, pain in the butt.........Had 3, all the same.

Since I have a HP, 2 years and still as good as day 1. A Canon a few months ago and it's been brilliant, the best of the little touches is when printing photos, it stops for a sec, I went and check why and it turns out that it's waiting to give time for the photo you just printed previously to dry before dropping off the current one. :)

And it also print CD printables :)

Their Epsom printer has just died after 1 year and about a week, 1 week out of warranty , so I don't think they would be keen on getting another.

That canon looks alright but no scanner I may suggest to them getting a separate scanner. Thanks.

I had a epson printer once but never again! used loads of ink and broke down a couple of times as well. Also a right pain in the butt to install on the pc. I now have a hp all in one printer. very happy with it. installed straight away no problem.
The difference between them is like chalk and cheese.
would definately buy hp again or maybe a canon.
