Epson SX435w? (colour, wifi, all-in-one inkjet) about £40-£50
Compatibles cost aournd £3 for each colour, but they aint all created equal so beware.

Does it need to be a colour printer? If not then I would suggest something like the Samsung ML-2165W.

I have same printer, very good and the previous version lasted me a long time. It was constantly in use.

Mono laser's are hard to beat in terms of cost per page really :) Toner seems to last forever.

    Agree on the laser costs.
I have the Brother HL-2270DW (about 8 of em), they do auto duplexing, have usb, lan and wifi.
I get toner refill bottles for £9.99 which will give about 1,600 pages of approx. 5% coverage.
