What`s the difference in between AGP 2.0 & AGP 3.0 ?
Would like to buy a Matrox G650 Millenium card but is AGP 3.0 compliant.
Will it work on my Abit NF-7 v2.0 mobo ?
Please advice.

It's mainly to do with the AGP port transfer speed. Iirc AGP2 spec is the same as AGP 4x, and AGP3 spec is 8x.

There's a difference in voltages too, so it would be worth checking on the Matrox support website if it turns out your motherboard is only AGP 4x. A lot of AGP cards are backwards compatible (the GeForce 6800 for example will work to AGP2.0 voltages as well as AGP3.0), but not all are.

Your NF-7 is compatible with AGP8x and the G650 is an AGP8x graphics card so you will have no problems. The v2.0 on your motherboard refers to it's revision not the AGP speed that it can support.

Just to confirm, here is the Abit website.
