What should be my next purchase???

I've just finished building my latest rig a few weeks ago.

I7 920 DO
6gb 1600mhz Dominator Tri channel
Asus p6T SE mobo
XFX 5770
Corsair HX 750 psu

I've managed to overclock this to 3.8ghz and it seems to be rock solid.

I use this for Gaming and surfing the net only.

If you had a choice between another XFX 5770 to put into Crossfire or buying an Intel X25-M SSD what would you go for????

Depends what res/graphics you want to run and what hard drives you're currently using.


If you're after higher res and/or MOAR graphics, then the 2nd card.

If you're after a nippy boot time and you've got other hdds for storage, then SSD.
 
I currently only use a 22" Samsung monitor (purchased for OCUK) well actually everything was purchased from OCUK except the Dominator Ram.

I currently run 1680x1050. I'm completely clueless when it comes to resolution talk i don't know if this is the highest you can get from 22" ro what???

I wouldn't mind everything just opengin a lot quicker but I guess my main concern is that games run to the best of their ability.
 
Do you reallyyyy need to upgrade? I personally wouldn't feel the need for either...but if you need to i'd say storage.

What about mouse/keyboard...or even cooling?
 
I've got my Saitek Eclipse keyboard which i love wouldn't trade it in for anything. just bought a Roccat Kova mouse which is the business, love the lights on it :D

I've just bought the 22" monitor, probably should have waited and put this extra cash towards a 24" one instead :(

but then i would hae had to buy the 2nd 5770 :D
 
if your wanting faster gameplay, get a 2nd 5770, thats if you have money to burn :P lol

also depends if your mobo and psu can support it which i know nothing about :)
 
you don't know what you need but you want something? Sounds like you've got the bug. Go out and breath some fresh air for a while.
