What should my mate get with £600

My mate wants to spend £600 on his PC. He needs Mobo, CPU, RAM, HDD, GPU and PSU. Well everything apart from case, as has one sorted.

He's big into his driving games and looking to play FPS on the rig.

Personally I'd go for this but others may disagree, plus its a bit over budget, Id say this would be pretty future proof and able to play most games!

I think that this is the best option.With this mobo you could unlock the other 2 cores or at least one and end up with a quad or a tri-core and the 2xHD5770 ar a good choice.Low power usage,low temps and in some cases outperforms the HD5850 and come close to the HD5870.

He can clock it to at least 3.7Ghz and has a 70% chance to get all 4 cores and a 90% chance to get 3 cores unlocked.So for the money its a very very good CPU.
