Hi all,

What size tv would you recommend for a viewing distance of around 10 to 13 feet. We currently have a 32" crt which we would like to replace.

Many thanks

:( ok bit more saving then I think.

Unless I go for

"Wharfedale LCD42F1080P42in 1080p HD Ready Digital LCD TV" which is £499

I have a 42@12 ft... You can bearly tell the difference between SD and 720p, let alone 1080p. 50inch is a 'must' at 12ft+ in my opinion. For 1080p you can go as large as 60 inch at that distance without any issues.

If it's mainly SD stuff you are going to be viweing then a PLasma would be a better bet than a LCD.

Also Plasma's are cheaper than LCD's @ 42+"

You could get a Sammy 50" Plasma for under a grand and it would still look great sat as far away as you are on SD stuff.

42" would also be do-able.

Type PS42Q97HD into google if your on a bit of a budget but still want a good set... They do a 50" to tho;)
