Guys what sources do you have connected to your AV amp and what connections are you using for each one ???

My list goes something like this

SkyHD to HDMI 1 input & Coax digital input
DVD recorder to HDMI 2 input
PS3 to Blu-ray HDMI input
And hoping soon to add a HTPC gaming system which i guess will be connected to a HDMI & optical input
(Mate broke my xbox360:()

May try using the zone2 of my amp to power some desktop PC speakers..

Using pioneer VSX-920 AV amp http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/page/products/av-receiver/home.html#VSX-920

Sky HD via optical (HDMI from Sky to TV directly)
PS3 via HDMI
Xbox 360 via HDMI

I think that's it tbh! Wii is connected via Component directly to the TV.

I've just reduced my kit list,

By going to an all HDMI set of kit, I've done away with having some sources for the TV, and some for the Projector, with SKY being split (using HDMI Splitter) between the 2 displays..

So now, with a Yammy 667, I have
Sky HD (1Tb) )Optical/HDMI
360 Elite (HDMI)
PS3 (HDMI)
HTPC (HDMI)

The Amp's HDMI output is then split to the TV and Projector, so I can have any source on either display..

Using a Yamaha RX-1065 with;

Sky HD - Optical/HDMI
Popcorn Hour - HDMI
Nintendo Wii - Component
xbox 360 - HDMI
PS3 - HDMI
Pro-Ject Turntable - Phono with seperate pre-amp
Yamaha Cd Player - Phono
Apple Airport Express- Phono
QED Live Play - Phono

Think that completes my list.

I have the following sources connected to my Pioneer.

Sky HD - HDMI and optical
Blu-ray - HDMI
Xbox 360 - HDMI
WDTV Live - HDMI
Wii - component
LAN connection for DLNA

obviously there is an HDMI out to the TV.

Amp - Cambridge Audio 640r
Marantz OSE6000 - Phono
Xbox - HDMI and Optical
Acer Revo R3610 - HDMI and Optical

Amp is showing its age, it doesn't do digital audio over HDMI.

Lounge: Yamaha RXV-465

HDMI1 = V+ HD
HDMI2 = PS3
Component = Wii
Scart/Component = DVD Recorder

Bedroom: Sony AVR (old one)

Everything goes into TV direct via HDMI/Scart and TV optical output goes into Sony optical input so I can get stereo speakers for everything as and when. Just easier that way with an older amp.
