What Tattoo for my forearm?

It’s a real shame that narrow minded people like yourself can’t keep idiotic intolerant opinions like that to themselves, classing/calling someone gutter trash due to the fact that they have a tattoo is hardly demonstrating what a respectable example of the community you are.

Really/Based on?

Again, care to back this up with more information? Maybe you have just been rather unlucky with the people you have had to surround yourself with but throughout life I’ve worked/dealt with many different people from numerous types of different backgrounds and never meet anyone with these narrow minded opinions.

Whatever man, we are both 29. Sure people perceptions will change give it another 50 years when the previous 2 generations have died out.

I have never met an "older" person that chose to have tatoos all over there arms and body that wasnt an ex criminal or ex army. The guys with swallows on their hands or necks. Not these pathetic tribal shapes that mean nothing and are just questionably "fashionable" Sorry i dont hang about in gay bars with blokes in tight shirts that like to look at each others tats all day, excentuating ther masculine physique.

Like that other guy said be individual but dont try too hard. ie: tattoo

im 36 have tattoo's am not ex army, gay or an ex con either, your logic is flawed ;) ,as for calling ppl 'gay' who have tattoos i suggest you try repeating that to ppl on the street, why is it everytime a tattoo thread is started a keyboard warrior emerges spouting brain farts? , if you dont like tattoos dont post in the thread or be original and start a 'i dont like tattoos ,whos with me' thread.

Now that’s a nice thought and something to look forward too, a world without racism, discrimination, bigotry and those that are intolerant of what they don’t understand or appreciate.

Until then the majority people will just have to put up with the narrow minded idiots that are remaining. :p

How can you have a real job like that ffs :(

I second the "working class" comment, its like burberry branding.
Let's face it; no personnel director is going to employ them. Unless they decide to pull the discrimination line which will probably mean they get hired, only due to the threat of legal action.

I third the working class comment.

If we're talking about the old boys that penski posted, then yes, no boss in their right mind would ever employ these people.

I really don't like the look of them either, that guys like 70 and he's sticking his fingures up at the camera :p

If I had one on my forearm and went for a job interview I would try and hide it. Just asked my employer who said "tattoo's are generally for scrubbers" He's an IT manager on a fairly decent paypacket.

But if you like the look of a tattoo, then why not. Id get one on my upper back or somewhere it can be seen with no top on but can be covered by a shirt or whatever

If you go for a job interview and they can see your tattoo it means youre wearing a short sleeve shirt...which says WAY more about your class than a tattoo ever could :o

Well done sherlock...why do you think that is? because things are changing...tattoos are far more acceptable these days....30 odd years ago the only people who got tattoos WERE ex crims or army...wait until you see the current generation get 'older' and you will see a hell of a lot more..

His name is Bruce Potts, he currently lectures on management and teaching techniques, he's a writer, he spent a career as a teacher and headteacher, turned several schools around from bottom-grade places being threatened with closure and made them incredibly succesful.

I would say that yes, he's had a succesful career.

He didn't get 'public' ink until he retired from teaching; US scholastic administration forbids it.

So now he lectures, travels the world, writes, makes money...Not a 'real job' though...is it?

Okay....How about Mike Jones? http://www.jonesjazz.com/

He is very heavily inked.

Nah....Not a real job...

seems to me a lot of ppl here think they are better than working class :D ,im working class and proud of it ,also from my point of view 'working class' means you are working for somone else or need to work to support yourself/family ,its amazing how many ppl 'think' they are better than others in this world,to anyone who says i am not better than them just because i have tattoos- i usually ask them to try and live and accept me for what i do in life and not to forget that it works both ways and i am quite happy to work with them knowing they are a complete ****** ;) ,and in truth i would rather be known as working class than have ppl think i was a ****** everytime i walked past.

*as a side note richard branson worked his way up to what he is today so i would concider him working class, prince charles was born into it and i would think he conciders himself upper class ,which one would most ppl think is an idiot ?
