My dad found this in the street, what is it? It seems kinda sleepy and slow then started to wake up a little bit, it can sqeek like a mouse.

What should I feed it?

no, you should be nice to it then let it go if its not injured, failing that get a tank and keep it !

My guess would be a shrew - our cat used to bring those things in all the time Vole's are rat-sized I think.

You really should let it go - you're probably causing it loads of stress by keeping it in captivity.

Looks like a vole. They're tiny too.

Shrews aren't as... round. They're longer and thinner.

Let it go in a field or something.

Do you live near any water- pond, stream, river, marshes. etc? Might be a young Water Vole which are endangered species IIRC and you need a special Licence to handle them, given the cuckoo-crazy UK nowadays I bet you'll get a £5,000 fine or something...
