Hello all,

sister was at the vets with her dog today (which my Mum doesn't agree with her owning) and there was a puppy Alsation being put down due to it being unwanted, and my sister took the dog.

Now shes got a big heart, and already works to pay for, her current dog, a horse, and her life including a car, and she lives at home.

She rang me this morning to take £10 as she didn't have enough to put diesel in her car.

So end of it is that she doesn't earn enough to support another dog, and whether she likes or not, the dog has to go.

So, what do we do with the dog? take it to the RSPCA? to a Kennels? what?

thanks.

Well it was being put down because the previous owners didn't know what to do with it so...

Are you sure it was being put down due to being unwanted? I'm sure the RSPCA would have something to say about that.

There are rescue centres, that specialise in rehome GSDs google for "german sheperd rescue in england"

What's with the username Zefan? :D

Back on topic - Do you know anybody who'd take it on - family, friends or whatever. That's the best option and will cause it less stress than going into a kennel where it might never come out.

I suppose the only other option would really be the RSPCA, but it could be there for a while.

Take it to your nearest Dogs Trust.

Puppies are usually re-homed quite easily.

Don't take up standup comedy.

Thanks for the suggestion, but to be honest if I were thinking about it I wouldn't ask someone who repeatedly fails to recognise sarcasm :p

i think you should post a thread on the internet about it. let others make the decision for you for your sister. while you are at it, your feet smell, best post a thread asking about why.

what useful input. I've found a possible home, but I don't know about these things i hardly have anything to do with animals.

Are you incapable of doing anything for yourself?

I didn't think it could get much better than 'I am unable to dress myself, please advise' thinly disguised as 'omg look! suits!' ;)

Why are you on these forums?

You obviously don't like to socialise or maybe just don't do it well.

Sorry you just really annoy me.

Anyway, give the dog to a good home?

its not hard to find lots of proper information on this thing we call the internet. there are a few posters who seem to think that you are unable to look for information outside of OcUK.
