Yes, I can cook for myself but recently all I seem to be having for lunch is either something with bread, like a sandwich or tuna/salmon with rice or pasta and a sauce.

What else is there to eat for lunch instead of bread, rice and pasta?

I dont have anything like bacon, eggs and have also ran out of salad and even bread now :(

Oh, also reasonably healthy, so no big fat pizzas or a takeaway!

It has some bread in it, but this is my typical healthy lunch:

Take 2x wholemeal pitas, sprinkle with a little water, and grill for approx 2 mins.
1x can of tuna, mix with 150-200g cottage cheese, and chop up a handful of tomatoes & onions and mix in. Add some pepper and a drop of Tobasco if you like.
Spoon mixture into pitas and enjoy a low GI and very nutritious lunch ;)

I used to use this when I was into weight lifting as one of my 6 daily meals, as it contains a lot of protein and a reasonable number of cals.

thanks, sounds good. only problem is I only have the tuna and sprinkle of water. (not even pepper)

Tuna and water may be a little bland

You have to ask yourself where it went wrong for you to end up asking an internet forum what you should eat.

Just make a sandwich or something, it's not that difficult.

I know.. shame on you Geeza! You should be posting pictures of your cats or dogs. Discussing which animal you could take on in a battle royale. Telling us how many hours you've played on your new Wii!!! Shame... ;)

Cheesy scrambled eggs.

3 x eggs.
Cheese
Salt and Pepper
Milk

Break 3 eggs into a bowl.
Whip up until the yolks break and mix.
Add salt and pepper.
Add milk, and keep whisking until milk and egg have mixed.
Microwave in 30 second bursts and mix up the egg until all the liquid is scrambled. Grate cheese into the egg and microwave and mix until the egg is hot and fluffy.
Eat.

Toast a teacake.

Cover in marmite (I don't care if you don't like it)

Scramble egg.

Combine.

Eat.

(I was inspired to remember this delicious snack by Craig's Scrambled egg wizardy)

Do chicken breast grilled (with spices if you have any), while cooking a jacket potatoe, however you like them cooked (I normally do mine in the over for 2+hrs) once both chicken and JP are done add cheese to the chicken and tada :D

I have some tinned ham, so i think im going to shred it up and put in a bowl with some chopped tomatoes, salt some spices and a couple of baby potatoes

In true student style, I've eaten the same lunch every day for about a week now. Try it:

Thick white bread
Lettuce
Salad Cream
Mature cheese
Cherry tomatoes

Combine and enjoy!

Well go buy something different then! Jesus. :p

I recommend some tuna, I hear it's good for the brain. I think you need a bit of help in that department ;)
