What to look for when buying a HDD?

Hi,

I need a new HDD but have no idea what I should be looking for, how important is the RPM/ cache ect.

I would only be using it for light gaming but want to get the best I can for around £30.

Without spending signficantly more for a raptor or SSD you may want to consider raiding two cheap/old drives. If you dont want to do that then a samsung F4 320GB is £30 but not sure how fast with gaming
