What to look out for on a scooby?!

saab 9-5 much better choice

dont get me wrong im a scoob fan, but bearing in mind a female will be sitting behind the wheel a saab is a much better choice on ever level

if you want an auto and something spacious what about a legacy ?

Its not that something spacious is massively needed. Just accessible, which my 330d isnt and neither is many other saloons :P
Legacy is a good shout though, as there are a few on here that are beasts!

firstly do you work with my girlfriend? hmmm now that would be telling!

secondly how much is she paying you? not nearly enough!

thirdly why dont you marry her? got my own problems already!

fourthly who shot phil mitchell? Oddly enough, i was being call Phil Mitchell when out with a work mate, he looked more like phil than me, but he was taller so was called Grant! No fair.

Just looking at my old thread from above - you posted this:

tbh i think the scoob wagons are pointless, they offer very little extra space over a normal impreza

think of it more as an Impreza hatch, than an estate

if you want something with more room, may i suggest the legacy turbo estate

OnewGTBpic.jpg

(240bhp but Jap import only :( )

and the Forrester 2.5 Turbo XT (227bhp and uk model :D)

which with bit of cosmetic tuning looks like this

and can be as easily tuned as the impreza can.

that ^^^ is THE Sex

Images are dead, but that was almost bang on 4 years ago!

ha its not odd at all, I think I spent well over 20k on my scoob, sold it for 9k i think, I fell out of love with it and just wanted rid, in hindsight that was a very stupid thing to do, especially as I didn't need the money :(

That is so odd, spend £17k on a car only to sell it for £20k a few months later. Surely spending that much to make something you desire, you would then want to keep it, otherwise why bother making it?!

Why do people do this?

Alan Sugar was on radio1 this morning, he said that he liked the getting a product to market, but once their he loses interest I the product. No different to this really.
Guess it's one of those mental things. You enjoy the making of more than the end product itself.

massively so, i remember the hugely proud feeling i got when i rebuilt my engine and it started first time, fair enough 1 minute later the fuel hoses were leaking everywhere and I nearly got burnt alive but for that first minute, I was god

its fine as long as you dont use a main stealer, even roger clarke work out cheaper!

Just make sure you know when your car is going to be sick and you will be fine :p
