I am in the mood for spending some money :p.

Above is my set up which I bought back at the end on Jan just when the Wolfdales came out. I also have a 1TB drive which is not on the list their.

Now everything is at stock speeds nothing has being overclocked are anything.

Its just I feel like spending some money on my computer. I know the most obvious thing would be Graphics Card but I am just wondering your guys thoughts!?

Thanks :)

Edit - Also I was thinking on maybe getting a Q9550 for xmas but would I really see a difference?

what do you use your pc for?

i would say 3rd party cpu cooler and more ram, then start overclocking

I do some light gaming but high end games like far cry etc. I use my PC everyday for day to day tasks so its not like I would be wasting any money.

I was thinkin 3rd Party coolers to be honest though I aint so sure on overclocking bit afarid on doing it.

Oh I thought you were a Nvidia man judging by the existing card

4870 then

CPU cooler, Thermalright ultra (if you can lap it) or Tuniq tower. The latter is big though so you need a biggish case.

Nah mate :p It was just at the time from what I remember this card was the best bang for the buck :). And even today it still stands up great to the latest games :). Though we all know the more FPS the better :p

I have an Antec P182 Case as well. 2 fans which where already in their and the stock CPU cooler and Graphics Cooler. It probs could be a bit cooler to be honest =/

1st thing would be get another 2 gig of RAM. The only thing after that would be a graphics card but it all depends how much you game and what kind of money you want to spend. Might be better sticking with the card you have

Did you see he has 4GB overall? I wouldn't think another two would make a difference.

I reckon an upgrade to a 4870 ought to do it. Or perhaps an CF board and a 4870 or two.....

Would Thermalright Ultra or Tuniq tower fit in my Antec 182?

And instead off buying two 4870s and a new motherboard would it just not be easier buying a 4870X2? Are is their performance issues?

With that cooler and the noctua fan, your E8400 will fly. You would see a huge difference with the 4870 over your GTS.

You need a USB missile launcher upgrade or possibly a cup warmer.

Seriously how about a TV / satellite tuner, lots of fun turning the PC into a PVR and getting it to work from S3 standby

If you mean to improve your PC's gaming ability for the pitiful amount of gaming software available then you want a new video card first (4870X2 or better), then a faster CPU.

If you want to boost your overall PC experience, get a larger, high quality IPS TFT screen.

Just a couple off questions...

1. Best CPU Cooler for the Antec P182 case?

2. What is the best tv tuner going? And I have a virgin media box in the same room as my computer would I be able to connect this up to my PC?.

Thanks
