What to upgrade?

Wayne, is that a 120mm fan ghetto modded above the ram? Im running a ghetto mod fan to cool my sli gtx 470s, both are clocked at 751 mhz, currently using a rather crude fan holder to cool them.

Quite literally a shoestring budget cooling option.

Apologies to Meatloaf, dont mean to hijack your thread mate.:)

Well ive managed to pick up a P5Q-E board, E6300 CPU, 4Gb PC8500 and a Tuniq Tower 120 on MM for £142 :cool

So my CPU plus that board, RAM and cooler should make for a decent overclock. Plus i'll have my current board, RAM and the E6300 to sell on as a bundle meaning the whole upgrade is likely to cost very little :D

Meatloaf, I have a similar system although I've got my CPU running at 3.6GHz :)

I recently purchased a Sandforce SSD and response time is much quicker without the hard disk bottle necking. Money is well spent went you can noticeably see the difference an upgrade makes. An SSD is a must.
