What TV shows are you currently watching

Just working my way through Series 4 of From. Better than last series but some dubious over acting from some of the leads have been a bit cringe. I am still in for it even if I don't if there will be an end of not!

Binge watched Twin Peaks series 1, 2 and the prequel film 'Fire, walk with me'

Loved S1, loved S2 until we find out the identity of the killer and then it dropped off big time. FWWM was good as well.

Will crack on with S3 at some point to complete the set.

7.5/10 overall. Would have been higher if not for 2nd half of S2.
Same here, I grabbed an old DVD box set of the first season of Twin Peaks, but the picture quality was rough, so I ditched it and got the digital copy on Amazon, which was much better. Curious if the Blu-Ray is any good as I prefer physical media.

I’m about two-thirds through season two now, season one had about six episodes, but season two has 22 or so! I’m enjoying it and agree and with your review, would rate the same; I’ll have to finish it and then track down the film and later seasons since I’m too far in to stop now.

It’s definitely not what I expected, I went in completely in the dark having not read or looked into the series, only vaguely recalling the hype and its cult status. I thought it was going to be a dark thriller, its certainly quirky. Some of the humour feels like it’s about to cue canned laughter like a comedy show?! :p

I saw 30 minutes of random episodes as a kid, i remember my mom and dad used to watch it in the early 90s when i was a kid so i remember it being a bit out there but yeah, the acting and delivery is hilarious at times.

Fire Walk with Me is very dark but i loved it.

Watched all of Tip Toe over the weekend, really good/depressing, cannot wrap my head around people's attitudes sometimes. It also has reminded me I need to watch It's a Sin and Years and Years, might go for something a little lighter first though.
Just finished it, watched it over two nights.

Enjoyed it for the most part. Good performances from the two leads but the ending was ludicrous.

Absolutely loving Widow's Bay. Funny and scary with a totally Stephen King vibe. The cast consists of people from every show I've liked in recent years including the majesty that is Kate O'Flynn. Highly recommend.

Mayor Of Kingstown - 8/10

Very good show that is quite uncomfortable viewing at times. Renner is very good as the lead and most of the supporting cast are decent.

Not sure if the next season is planned to be the last, but it feels like it should be.

Finished season one of Sugar last night and it certainly wasn't what I was expecting - nice twist though and sets it up for an interesting 2nd season. Season two has just started so I have a while before I can binge it.

I tired to get into this but I could't. Currently watching your friends and neighbours which is quite. Also Shrinking for short episodes after work etc.

Watched Widows Bay, was ok for me, i'd rather they pick a lane, i'm not sure horror comedy works for a supernatural type horror.. 6.5/10

I'll watch season 2, but it's not on my got to watch list..

The Alfred Hitchcock Presents series.

I watched an episode the other day with Leslie Nielsen (Naked Gun), where he plays the father of a son possessed by a malevolent entity. I imagine this episode alone influenced many stories and films. Very cool and would make a good remake.

Being Hitchcock, the tales always carry an edge of suspense, some pretty dark indeed. I didn't realise the amount of truly big names from the sixties who make appearances, it clearly was the prime time show.

I finally finished 13 series of Midsommer Murders and I really enjoyed it. It was charming and sweet at times but not a patch on Vera.

Decided I'm going to watch Capture 3 tonight but I'm slightly nervous incase it isn't as good as the first 2.
I can't say much without spoiling season 3 of The Capture for you, so all I will say is that your feeling of nervousness may or may not get Corrected ;)

Finished squid game 3..

Jesus that was a slog..... I'm so over it. They are doing a yank one? Jesus wept.
