What TV shows are you currently watching

Bad girls on itvx. I saw this when this first came out in 1999 when i was only 11. Remember bits but overall its very good, on series 2 ep 7 now.

I saw 30 minutes of random episodes as a kid, i remember my mom and dad used to watch it in the early 90s when i was a kid so i remember it being a bit out there but yeah, the acting and delivery is hilarious at times.

Fire Walk with Me is very dark but i loved it.
You are not wrong about Fire Walk With Me, blimey, it’s dark.

Shame there’s no Lara Flynn Boyle, and a couple of the scenes completely went over my head. Whilst I am on a roll, I might torment my brain further and give Eraserhead a try. :p

Three episodes into This City is Ours. Will likely continue with it although its not compelling viewing, feel like we've seen it all before. Gentlemen, Gangs of London, Mobland, that other Irish one that I can't remember the name of. Sean Bean (who is from Sheffield if you didn't know and obviously can't do a scouse accent) announces he's from Sheffield in the first scene of the first episode. Dead not long after adding another to his youtube death highlight reel. It's all a bit familiar.

Started watching The Americans, as I was impressed with Matthew Rhys in Window's Bay and with Keri Russell, from The Diplomat. Only 4 episodes in but quite entertaining and I'm digging the 80's spy thriller vibe.

From memory it picks up in the final few episodes definitely worth sticking with

Just finished all 3 seasons of Suburra - Blood on Rome.

A gritty Italian crime drama about three guys from different backgrounds who form an unlikely friendship and attempt to take over Rome’s crime scene.

I’d give it a 8.5/10.. not the most sophisticated show in the world but I was gripped from beginning to end. Thankfully there’s a movie and follow up series. Would highly recommend.

was at someones house, someone who watches tv unlike me and saw an advert for

3year old trailer for s1
seems really good imo so far.
8.5/10 based on 4 eps of the first 6 ep season.

Love this series, season 2 is excellent too - now just waiting for Season 3

Two weeks in august. a bbc drama in the style of white lotus just a bit less extreme. Id give it a 6/10, worth a watch but dont expect anything ground breaking. The ending was rather disapointing, and felt rather rushed/limp

watching an episode a night of Widow's Bay and really enjoying it. It's a lot darker than I was expecting and that's a good thing, although the episode where he was tripping on mushrooms resulted in a few chuckles

nothing really catching my attention so rewatched breaking bad, some of it is great tv but a lot is just so so . 3rd watch through still dont like the ending. 8 out of 10.

now to find something decent :D

I've started on Mad Men. I've tried before and didn't get passed the first season, maybe 7 or 8 eps. I'm about 3 eps in now, and I do wonder it's missing a purpose for me. I'll try and stick at it though, as so many say it's very good.
