I'm looking for a new bed... and I want a pukka one ;)

...nowadays... Memory Foam seems to be the 'in thing'... So what do you have?

Memory Foam or Springs?

Thanks

Both :)

Have a SilentNight Miracoil matress with the fantastic Memory Foam on the top 1inch of it, really comfortable considering the price compared to the Tempur matresses. Linky
We just got the matress, but that's the type.

Downside is in Summer, as the foam makes you quite warm.

Though since we changed the matress last year, I have had no backache which I used to get from our old spring matress

A rather expensive spring one, not quite as comfortable as a memory foam one, but I like to sleep on harder surfaces. Wouldn't touch a cheap sprung mattress anyway.

same here...a bloody great nights sleep...

I dont mind spending a bit on a bed..you spend a fair amount of time there so you want to be as comfortable as possible

2k?

then again you do spend a 3rd of your life in bed so why not.... :D

i have some cheapo silentnight miracoil thingy. 160 squids. :)

Not sure on the make but it was an expensive super king size pocket sprung one, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on.

Memory foam mattress that I want is £700 :(

Don't think I will be getting that and have enough money for my tv.

Soooo comfy though! Bed hunting on saturday \o/

...The one I've been looking at is a Kaymed.

The base has srpings in it and the Mattress is Pocket Sprung and has memory foam on top... So best of both worlds..

Only problem is... Dream was a GRAND!! for it

My mum bought me a matress as a gift - she proceeded to buy a King size matress for my normal sized bed, despite my best advice

Now I sleep on a camel's back :(
